Rent prices in Brooklyn...

Looking to get an apartment in Brooklyn for my upcoming semester of school. What are the prices like per month with utilities. An ideal spot would be anywhere near the R train line.

I'm looking to move in with myself and one possibly two friends.

brooklyn rent is lower than manhattan, but it depends on where you look, every neighborhood in brooklyn (just like manhattan) is different. you just gotta start checking areas out. start with craigslist, sort by location and price, youll find something.
