Retro XI Breds Size Help

I'm hoping some of you sneakerheads can help me out. I haven't purchased any retros in a long time...last time I did I purchased the Black Cat IVs. So I really need your help. Last week I was fortunate to snag a pair of the Retro XI Breds in size 12. Typically, I tend to purchase shoes in size 12. However, I went to the mall today and for some reason I decided to check my shoe size at champs. After measuring my feet it seems as though my size is actually about 11.5. Now I'm worried that I didn't order a size 11.5. So I'm asking for any help, guidance, or advice regarding my situation. Will a half size make a significant difference? Do the XIs run true to size, a little small, or a little big? Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to make the shoes fit better if they turn out to be a little too big. Thanks in advance and any help would be greatly appreciated.
