RIP Floyd Standifer

I'm guessing most people on here probably don't know who he was, but he was an incredible trumpeter and singer and was the king of Seattle jazz. He was incredibly humble, considering his circle of friends included people like Quincy Jones. He was a great teacher and performer and he will be truly missed in Seattle.

Actually met him back in my college days. He was a guest lecturer for a jazz class I took and he hung out afterwards and chatted with the students.
