No, his death wasn't planned, but it was predictable. 95 years old and getting hospitalized often in the past year due to medical issues? Plus, the movie only released a week ago.

so you're implying this world leaders death would have been orchestrated, not for some social or political interest, but to sells movie tickets?

RIP. As a African Mandela holds a special place in myself and my family heart especially my father. He marched for Mandela's freedom and organized protest while in school in Rome, and the US back in the 70s and 80s. Its really a sad day, but was to be expected for a man his age.

you're on a sneaker forum on the internet and Paul Walker was an actor in a popular movies series who was relatively young.

Mandela was a revolutionary who has been close to death for about a month now.

1/3 of Paul Walkers thread was about the nature of his death: the fiery, crazy crash
Mandela died in a hospital and was expected to for some time now.

Another 1/3 was people being surprised because he was young and still actively on the scene.
Mandela's biggest contributions to history were made YEARS ago and he was 95.

it's just the nature of people to be more surprised by the nature of Walker's death and the context of it as opposed to Mandela.

don't try to make a social commentary out of you just sound like a pseudo-intellectual guy.

It's so sad to hear this great man passed away, such a kind humble soul. I heard a teary eyed reporter refer to him as the Ghandi of the modern generation and that sounds spot on.

May he now rest in peace.

Is not fair to compare them, one was sudden and very tragic, the other the passing of an icon of our generation whom at 95 years of age had lived his full life, Walker not so much plus the circumstances of his death was what lead such a discussion.
