I was watching richeous kill and it got me thinking. Pick your favorite of the two.

Robert Deniro
Casino, Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Deer Hunter, Raging Bull, Bronx Tale, Heat


Al Pacino
Scarface, Dog Day Afternoon, Godfather, Carlito's Way, Donnie Brasco, Heat

Robert Deniro for me much more versatile, and I enjoy his movies alotmore

Its hard because they were both in heat (one of the best of all time)
 
Deniro. Casino + Goodfellas + Raging Bull = untouchable by almost anyone.

Pacino gets all this praise for Scarface when that +*** is the most overrated film ever thanks to MTV cribs

Pacino in Scarface is one of the greatest performances I will ever see...but I'll have to go with Deniro. In my top 5 favorite actors of all time.'Raging Bull' might just be the greatest movie ever. Him being Scorsese's right hand man at one point really does give him the upper hand.
 
Close call but I've always liked Deniro more.

Pacino is great though, Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico, Panic In Needle Park..he's amazing.

But imo Casino sucks!!

Brazil, Deer Hunter, Taxi Driver, A Bronx Tale, damn I think I have nearly every damn Deniro flick out there..oh yeah Mean Streets is great too..New York, NewYork...safe to say he's my all time favourite.
 
How can this thread exist without naming both of their best performances?

Godfather.....Deniro > Pacino
 
It's a tough one, cause They both did good in the Godfather, even though I give 1+ to Pacino. But Deniro, owns in Goodfellas, and Casino. Heat. Damn,can't forget Donny Brasco, Al Pacino was solid in that role. Deniro won by 1 point by doing comedies like Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers. PlusPacino had Serpico, and try watching Scarface, high and not thinking Pacino is the greatest actor of all time. I'm rolling with Deniro though, cause mymans make me believe he was sensitive and hard in Casino and HEAT. Deniro wins.
