From what I noticed last year, VIP folk get to meet and greet the artists who are willing to meet fans. You get a special little backpack and a section in thecrowd that's behind the pit. You do miss some of the concert to do the meet and greet thing though.

I don't know if it's worth the extra money, 'cus I paid $90ish last year to stand in the pit and that experience drops a deuce on the VIPexperience.
