Same reason that Americans don't know what the Federal Reserve really is or how it was conceived. What Fiat money is. When we went of the standard.
Same reason that many Americans don't know who the VP is. Or who the Axis powers were during WW2.
Same reason that Americans believe that on Thanksgiving the Pilgrims and Colonists got together happily.

You'd have to be blind and ignorant if you don't see Ron Paul as the most viable candidate. He may be extreme in some cases, but as a strictconstitutionalist he is all about YOU the person and making sure the government stays out of your life. Why wouldn't you want that?

First time I ever made a politcial donation, and proud of it.
I hope who ever does end up in the oval office sees Paul's ideas and makes him an economic advisor. Be even better if he was a military advisor, butI'm not living in the clouds.

Honestly, how many people can look at politicians and say "that person right there knows what it takes to run a country, and will do a fair and balanced job"?

the government should never and will never stay out of your life. there are so many government programs that we have become accustomed to and need. thegovernment is supposed to work for the people, i don't see why anyone would want them out of their lives.
