SAN ANDREAS APPRECIATION . VOL. GROVE STREET

They need to make updated versions of Vice City and San Andreas

Basically how GTA IV was an updated version of Liberty City

San Andreas was the %%$@. Storyline was epic, the characters from Ryder to Smoke were funny, and the last mission was a thing to remember.

GTA IV was good for a few days, but the missions got repetitive and the game was a bit over-realistic.

word, it's been so long since I've actually played the game but I definitely don't remember it being that hard.

Flight school was kinda hard at first, but driving school was probably worse.

I'm DL'ing San Andreas from the Xbox Live Marketplace right now though.

That got annoying after awhile. They need to do one in the 70-80's in Chicago and base it around the gangs.

Because the history behind the gangs of Chicago is rich and very interesting.

San Andreas is one of the top 10 games I've played. The storyline was amazing and they really gave you a lot of freedom.

GTA is overrated as a whole. Appreciated for story but other than that how many times are you going to do the same thing over and over.

Fixed.

I always felt like punching the people who said that Vice City was better. Especially those who said that San Andreas was "too big" as one of theirarguments as to why Vice City was better. It was so annoying to listen to. Like if you're a fan of COD4, imagine if someone told you that COD4 wasn'tgood because it had too many weapons. They should just leave the M4, M14 and the MP5 in the game.

Also, you will be happy to hear that the rumors of the GTA: San Andreas Stories for PSP are getting more and more detailed with more substance. Looks like thisgame is going to get made. The only thing better than San Andreas is portable San Andreas.

Oh yeah, and

The San Andreas theme related more to the Playstation/Xbox audience IMO . Yes I repeated myself .

But its like ... what white kid doesn't want to be a black gangster from Cali ? Like really now .

SA had a better appeal IMO ... but im not saying the other games weren't good .

, i don't understand this complaint.

games like "Force Unleased" are repetitive.

same exact enemies, same exact "moves" same "background", etc.

GTA is a wide open game...you don't even HAVE to do missions...

how is it repetitive?

because you have missions like "kill this guy and his friends"

usually there is some sort of variation, i.e.

Kill him before X o clock

Make the choice to kill him or not, or him or someone else...

Find a suspect with a police computer first

chase down a train that dude is riding on

trap a police escort in a tunnel with a semi truck

don't kill him until he meets up with his crew

stuff his body in the trunk and drive across town, dont wreck or the trunk will open...

kidnap a chick, after calling her and saying you wanted to buy her car...then she fights over the wheel with you, sending your car out of control...(thats SO cliche....

)

and even still, you have a variety of weapons and literally an INFINITE amount of ways to actually "complete" the mission...

i'm sorry, GTA IV can get criticized for ALOT of things, but being repetitive isn't one of them...

not even close.
