Yeah his name is Billy, he works @ Honey Baked Hams also.

fred - good looking out on that hook up. You the man and I hope the yard turned out nice.

For the rest of the SA Fam that I got to meet, thanks for coming out. Glad to put some faces on sns as always. SA even killed it on 1s and 2s at the pre-party. Donnie showed his talent. Great table and collection as always.

Anyone interested in some Tony P. and Manu PE's? You know where to find me.

Hi San Antonio NT'ers

I'll be moving to San Antonio from the California (Bay Area) in about 2 weeks. Do you have any recommendations for apartment rentals in the Med Center for a 1/1 at around $650/month to share with my boyfriend? I'll be attending UTHSCSA and want to stay withing a 20 min drive of school. Also, where do you buy groceries, shop for sneakers, get your nails done, etc. Thanks in advance and I look forward to being part of this community.

Not sure on apartments in the area being $650 a month for a 1/1. I'm sure there are plenty around there, but I live on the other side of the hwy from the medical center and the 1/1 in my complex is close to $800 a month. As for groceries, the store down here is H.E.B., sneakers there is Sole Boutique on Broadway and of course the malls. Can't help you on the nails...lol

Which one? Meaning, there is a bunch of dudes in that store that fit the description that need an attitude adjustment. The the Gen Mgr could use one too, the guy thinks he runs a personal business---all I have to say is; you never know who you are helping....

Maybe they should take a few tips over from the folks at Ingram. Anyway, if i ran NS I would of cleaned house on all those attitudes...I will say though, there is the occasional associate that is nice.

Yes, Bella Madera. Im hoping he/she liked it there. I keep hearing that people in San Antonio are really nice, that you need a car to get anywhere and that there's gigantic bugs, any truth to this?  When I interviewed at UTHSCSA we didn't get a chance to explore the city so here I am trying to figure out this move.

Thanks for your input!

-People are nice; unless you talk about the Spurs then they become ignorant.
-Bugs..eh..i guess

-Allergies = Yes. Get ready, I'd never had them before coming here.

-Food; eh. Its the Tex-Mex capital...so alot of it is the same thing. But there are some awesome hole-in-the-wall places (diners, etc)

-Weather = HOT

-Alot of outdoor things to do.

-River

-Cheap everything, including cost of living, but you know that by now.
