i remember me and my cousin were in ATL for the summer. We go to the mall, and we're talking about sneakers, so my cousins like "BRO all i need are infrareds and it would be a wrap". We walk into finishline and my cousin asks the employee if they have any air max90's in the back that werent already on the floor- she comes out with a box in a size 12 (my cousins size) and says "all we have are these". We open the box and a fresh pair of infrareds are waiting to be copped. i was like
- my cousin ripped the box outta the employees hands and ran to the cashier
This seems to come up every 6 months or so.
Someone on here had the straight pic and info files and listed them out with the pics.
Air bubble changes, slight spelling/name change and so on.
Should probably find that old thread and just sticky it.
Infrared's deserve it.
In some areas they sold so badly they crossed over into TWO different F and F weekends. Meaning they sat for 2 months or more (however often Footlocker does F and F). I bought some on the SECOND weekend, months later. Does that hurt your feelings even more? "It's simple for everyone else, give 'em a Big Mac and a pair of Nikes and they're happy..." - Ghost World
-----The first time the Infra's were retro'd was 2003 in europe and asia only, they were of WAAAAAY better quality, They had REAL technology in the midsole unlike the HOA which had a crappy narrow fit and had a midsole as heavy as an airforce 1. The U.S. is getting raped on quality and most people either dont realize it or dont care.
here are my 03 euro retros. not to front but these are deifinately way better than the HOA. if u own a pair u know the differences. infra is brighter, the mesh feels softer, bigger air bubble and so on.
^^^^^^wrong midsole on the EURO/ASIA release was unpainted poly, where as the history of air had a coat of white paint, also the history of air shoe was WAAAAAAY heavier and did not have the OG technology in the midsole as the euro/Asias did, they look like the same shoe but completely different.
