The Foamposite One was actually offered to Scottie Pippen first. He turned it down in favor of having his own signature shoe (Air Pippen Max) I've actually held the one-of-one size 16 (my size) Pippen - Air Foamposite One player exclusive sample in neon RED with the Pippen "P" on theheel instead of the one cent symbol. I couldn't convince Sports Marketing to let me have it for my collection.
I'm not gonna say the shoe is indestructable. But its pretty damn close. Price is a little steep but you are definately getting your money's worth outof em. I wear my black foam pros from 2002 all the time and they still look pretty new. I just wish nike would incorporate it into other shoes or make someother sig lines using the foamposite material
^^^ NO,...... many, many, and many times they have failed. they were successful with the flightposite but that's where it ended i believe.
I always wanted to have them (FP1), but they were extremely expensive in EU, so I had to pass (being a student). I will for sure make my moves to get at leastretros. I don't even care about the weight issues, comfort etc. they just look amazing. I would love to have them just for that fact alone. Anyway some of you sound like you work for swoosh, hahaha CWK loving the name and avatar (good memories) Paix c.
I STILL LOVE H.E.R.... her; as in foamposites.. Cant guarantee you no punani in FOAMz, but i can guarantee you a SHOT in bed
I remember when the Penny Foams dropped when I was in high school, and I heard about them all over school but never saw them. And when I finally saw them in FLand Eastbay catalogs I could only stare at them in complete awe because I had seen NOTHING like them before. I couldn't afford them then, but I and proudto say that I copped the retro instantly and rock them like I'm still in high school! Had to share that.
nike did very good on the foam line but when they lunch the garnett foams thats the start of the foam downfall
I wish the Lebron line continued to be foamposite. I dont know how the phyposite is, but its probably no foam. Also the Melo M4s have foam in the heal, but it doesnt look like it would be of any benefit. More of a looks thing.
funny thing, I was wondering the exact same thing, I really wanna get a pair but the price of em are just too steep... They look nice and all, like otehrs saidtheyre unique, I can't imagine rocking em with jeans though... thanks though for the info everyone
I've never owned a pair of Foamposites and reading all of these positive reviews makes me wanna break the bank a little bit and cop a pair very soon.
I just got some OG pros, joints is 10s and im a 11.5, they are maddd tight will anything happen if i wear them that small hahaha i need to find some retroes in my size
not the case eddie house, cause if that were the case, every shoe was be $130 or more. Foam shoes are like Lamborghinis, ultra high performance, so they dont make new models very often.
man, any and every shoe that costs more than 100$ BETTER be ultra high performance. any shoe with foamposite is so expensive that nobody wants to take a chance on it. and then the shoes are narrow. and then it's the long break in period.and on and on. you can find shoes at the 125$ price point that trump the foams, and just about every recent jordan release. higher price =/= higher performance. you don't stop making something that works. especially if it works better than what you're using in the moment.
uhhmm sure if you want to call the flightposite line the downfall of the line...sorry they didnt look right with the jeans and fitted
