Every year I notice that I know less and less who the hell even plays on our team.

Before the season, my friend challenged me to name five players on the Mariners' opening day roster. I managed to name two. I'm so out of touch with that team. I haven't watched a single minute of this season.

As a huge M's fan I could only name about half the starting lineup this year. The great season of 2001 seems like a distant memory, still hurts that they were in first place the majority of 02' and 03' only to choke in the last quarter of the year. I'll always support the team but it becomes harder and harder with each 4th place finish (they have finished last in the AL west 5 of the last 7 seasons).

I gotta say, the plan to use many different announcers for the year, is starting out great. I'm really enjoying this. Ken Wilson is very enjoyable to listen to.

As long as I don't have to listen to Dave Sims, I'm all for it

4 runs in the first inning is almost unheard of these days for the Mariners.

Thanks to Phil Coke really, because the M's only have one hit. [IMG]

    I'll take it.

I was going to be real pissed if they only ended up with one or two runs...because that's what they were aiming for before that hit by Giminez

Wow the M's have scored some runs? Did Edgar come out of retirement?

Haha... I finally get a chance to watch a game on MLB TV and Sims is not on the air! [IMG]
Boys are putting up some runs too.

    EDIT ~ Double-digits. [IMG]

Feels good to finally see some consecutive hits (especially Figgins finally doing something [IMG] ) and Saunders needs to play more imo

Hope all is well for Smoak and his fam [IMG]

Still haven't gotten the chance to watch a game yet, but I'm definitely happy to see tonight's outcome.
