I think it’ll be a platoon situation.

Pollock was solid with the Dodgers and I hated that they traded him for Kimbrel, especially since they ended up not being able to hit a lick in the post season. He plays solid defense and that bat will show up, I think he’s a good fit for the M’s this season.

I’m fine with the signing - would probably rather give JK a full season since his decline has been sharp.
