When sending resumes thru e-mail what type of word format is the best way to go so the recepient is capable of opening it and it opening in the best form ?

I obviously have my way of sending them, but just wondering what ways you dudes send them.

Thanks in advance.

If electronically I send a PDF.

If they request a word document, I still send a pdf and word document.

I've sent PDF, Word Document AND Plain text once - that was overkill.

But the ony frormats where the recipient is GUARANTEED to viewing it is plain text and PDF (if you want them to be guaranteed to see your formatting properly)

I always send it in '.doc', never failed. In the email I say something like "attached is a copy of my resume, please let me know if there isdiscrepancy viewing it".
