    Similar skillset
    Similar athleticism

I don't know; is it anything beside opportunity?

And yall Willie B naysayers, don't come in here and say, "Why does NT love this guy so much"

    Being in the right place.

The fact that Nate BLEW UP his last year in school.

And I think his jumper is better than Dub-B's.

He also seems to have more PG ability.

You're on the money. Sometimes I look back and wonder what Will's collegiate career could've been like had he had some kind ofstability...

    %$!#$ never shoulda left Arizona.
He woulda been JT part II.
    Late 1st round pick.
and when you go in the 1st round, u are afforded more time to pan out and given more chances to prove yourself

Yea it does, cuz he woulda been in a better position when he left UofA then leaving Ga Tech
those early rushed decisions impacted his entire future
by his soph yr he woulda been gettin major burn but he didnt wanna play the role and learn to play PG rite off the bat.
Now its taken him what, 4 yrs and a Europe stint to get a look,

now if he stuck it out under Lute he woulda been in this position 4-5 yrs earlier.

Nate has a much more consistent jumper, and he's gotten a lot more PT/support from his coaches.

Will left UofA because he wasn't going to get any burn. They were bringing in Mustafa Shakur and going in that direction. IMO the right decision. Histourney performances at GT helped him a lot. It's just that no NBA team wanted to take a chance on a 6' SG except NY and Isiah, and they pick Nate.

hey, he got what he wanted collegiately...
He left a place where he was gonna learn to play the 1, and he went to another spot where he freelanced like he wanted to and never learned to play the 1, plusGT had more of a backcourt log jam (elder and jack) then there was in Tucson.

Like I said, if he stuck around, he learns the ropes, solidifies his PG play and accelerates his professional career experience by 4 yrs

Mike Bibby, Jason Terry and Miles Simon? Lute made that work.
[IMG] Apparently Lute didnt see it that was with his star recruit that year...
Shakur was supposed to be that dude coming outta HS....Once he commited, Bynum wasnt seeing any run in AZ. He had to leave

Bibby, simon, and terry werent in the same recruiting class, he snatched all them up in different yrs.
You bring in the best available talent no matter who u got already on ur squad.

I mean, so was everyone else Arizona was recruiting back in them days.
They were definitely getting top talent, including Will. BUT Shakur was one of the top PGs coming out of high school. There was no way he wasgoing to come to Zona if he though he was going to be playing behind Bynum for THREE years.

Also, throw Bibby outta the discussion [IMG] .Theres no way Arizona was gonna let him go to another school

If Nate Robinson had to play behind Iverson, Stuckey, and Hamilton he wouldn't see any pt either...
