SF Anthem Appreciation Vol. We Handling Bricks In The Back Of Candlestick

I mean.... Who from the Bay is mainstream tho?? 40, too short? Those are maybe the only two rappers that they play outside of the bay...

The rest of the rappers are underground for the most part. Thats why people run their mouth when they talk about bay music.. They dont know wassup with theunderground $#%%.

Yukmouth, Hus, Ya Boy (and I can keep on going) can all spit.

OK, I'm not gonna ask you to explain why you think that's corny but it's an anthem for the city of San Francisco for Christ sake, I fail to see how acknowledging the two greatest athletes in the cities history is corny. I'm sorry but that's just nitpicking at its finest.

95% of mainstream rap is trash today, don't act like it's just the bay.
Na I agree basically all the %*@# out there is trash, but most cities at least had a time when they were doing at producing solid mainstream level music or had a couple real artists doing it and maybe it is my ignorance but I can't say that for the Bay.

I mean I *** with Short but he ain't the most dept rapper

The bay's always been slept on but bay area mainstream rap was huge in the early and mid 90's.

Spice 1, Souls of Mischief, Heiro, E-40 (trash now), Short, The Luniz, C-Bo, Pac pre Death Row, Celly Cel, RBL Posse, all legitimate bay area artist who witnessed mainstream success in the 90's.
Sac =/ Bay Area

For the sake of argument, in this case it does. Excuse me if I don't replace bay with northern california.

I'm from Oakland and I really loved this song first time I heard it, and still do. Perfect beat, perfect sample, and Quinn murdered it.
