Holmgren also says Shaun Alexander will continue to wear a cast on his right wrist for the rest of the year, and has a chance to play in Week 10 despite ankle and knee injuries. However, Alexander may not practice at all this week. If the Seahawks do go with a pass-heavy attack, Leonard Weaver could cut substantially into Alexander's playing time. Weaver is a much better pass catcher and pass protector at this stage of Alexander's career.
