Sizing help for Adidas NBA Authentic shorts

I haven't ever purchased a pair of NBA authentic shorts but am about ready to pull the trigger.  I am 5'11" and don't want them too baggy - should I go with L or XL?

authentic shorts dont go by M, L, etc. they go by number.

how much do you weigh? im gonna say go with a 36 judging by the size you wear. they shouldnt be too baggy.
