I hear ya, I was just having a little bit of fun, but I don't want you anybody else on here think that all I do is bash the ******** or anything of the sort. I'm just happy that my team came out on top Sunday, it's all fun and games over here. Good to know. I just had to get that off my chest haha. But that's cool though. A little harmless banter is always good to lighten themood.
I'm gonna bump my dude Deuce's thread...I know he was geeked that the 49ers beat the Skins on sunday...only bamma in DC w. the 49ers flags blowin'in the wind off his huffy. This was the first skins game that I have missed since college. The last 4-5 games totally deflated me. I got my hopes up when we were 6-2, but I didn'tdrink the kool-aid. I wasn't reserving my suite in Tampa . There were some positives this season and A LOT of negatives. However, if you would havetold me that the skins would have finished .500 with a coach with NO experience I would have laughed at you in the face. I was hoping for 9-7 this year (at thebest) with 6-10 being more probable (check the prediction thread in S&T).....I just hope that the Skins have a good approach in the off season and addresssome of the HUGE issues like the O & D lines. 1. Get more depth on the O-Line 2. Get some REAL pass rushers. 3.5 sacks for your LEADING sack getter is unacceptable. Who would have thought that Demetric Evans would be that dude?? 3. Trade Ladell Betts and Carlos Rogers....get more draft picks. Use one of those picks on a quality backup for Portis. He was too beat up this season. 4. Re-sign Deangelo Hall...dude proved himself to be our best CB. 5. Release Springs, Washington, Jansen, and whoever else would count against the cap if we were to retain them I'm sure there is way more, but I am just typing this quick.... congrats on the win Deuce...and I'm sure you'll be bringing it up well into the Obama administration....
But he had almost 1500 yards.... If he did more than get banged up everyweek.. where would we be? If his line was consistent.. how many yards would he have then>? I agree Santana isn't a one...but he's damn close.. but El ainta 2 or a 3.. he's just a WR...and while James Thrash is a good guy.. He should NEVER see the field on 3rd downs when you have Stud recievers on the sideline who are supposed to be top notch...
By the way.. Dub J.. not sure if you listen to 980 like I do.. but hearing that the Danny is apart of the selection process is damning at best.. And anytime I hear Vinnies show I cringe...this dude is pure booty and has NEVER accomplished ANYTHING. Giving away draft picks.. year after year..notretaining players you traded pics for... The one year you had a chance to get draft impact.. Almost none contribute... Check the Stats... Drafts build Championships... and Playoff Contenders... Anyone can say what they want.. but when you see teams turn it around in one season like the Dolphins.. or teams do well with 1st time Coaches.. Ravens andFalcons.. its frustrating as hell and tells you its Management..
