Sneaker Suggestions for MCL/ACL tear?

So I tore my knee up playing Rugby the other night and just got diagnosed. Should have asked the doctor what kind of footwear would be good for post-operationand PT. Anyone have experience or suggestions?

tore mine last june...playing basketball so I'm not quite as hardcore as you.

I'm playing again now, still a little uneasy and I still have some pain in my patellar tendon due to them taking the graft from there...

IMHO, it doesn't really matter what shoe you wear to physical therapy after your surgery. I wore Shox, new balances, etc....

and FULLY DISCUSS THE DIFFERENT GRAFTS with your surgeon...I wish I had gotten a hamstring graft rather than a patellar tendon graft.

thanks guys. i actually have an MRI friday so hopefully we'll see how bad it is, im just trying not to think about the actual injury too much.
