So NT, what have you achieved this year and what are your goals for 2014? Vol: Feel good

2013
-became a proud father to a beautiful baby boy
-passed part 1 of my board exam
-waiting on results for my part 2 board exam (if I pass I get a huge raise)
-finally hit the 6 figure club
-bought my first new car

2014
-learn more about investing my money
-lose some weight
-continue to be a great father
-save more money
-take a vacation
-stay debt free

Didnt achieve anything and wont achieve anything next year.

Those feels of being a failure.

2013:

-Downsized my life alot and began saving money for future investments
-Paid off my 2007 Ford Mustang
-Got my teeth Fixed (Root Canal and a Couple Venners)
-Paid off Credit Card Debt
-Nearly beat my sneaker habit.
-Got Accepted to OSU and UWM for a Masters in Human Resoruces program, delayed acceptance to 2014 in order to achieve personal goals
-Lost my long time GF but retained the friendship... and opened it up for FWB yambs

2014:
-Traveling to Nigeria for the first 6 months of the year
-Start a business with my family
-Read 20 books
-Start HR program, looking like UWM, time to take my talents back home
-Move outta Ohio For good
-Spend less money on sneakers and more money on memories
-Possibly settle down.

2013:
1. Earned a promotion from entry level position (finally shake entry level salary!)
2. Shot My 1st Wedding (Still editing)
3. Painfully learned more about maturity in relationships
4. Painfully learned the dangers of poor money management/falling behind on student loan payments (entry level salary, should have used deferment/forbearance)
5. Began Weight Training and saw significant results (Took brief hiatus late in the year due to work schedule)

2014:
1. Personal Financial Strides (Eliminate Student Loan Debt Best I Can - Create Savings)
2. Get back in the gym/eating right (taking a break sucks, i miss the energy and confidence from lifting)
3. Reward Myself (travel ,fun, whatever- I sacrificed traveling and other expenses to survive with a ****** salary in a major city. I don't regret it but i do feel like i have some making up to do)
4. Personal Relationships (I focused so much on work I put just a bout every friendship and personal relationship to the back burner. Don't wanna be like that in 2014
5. Do more Film/Video work ("they done took ya dream, you don't know who did it" - I see how easy it is to become pigeonholed in a job you don't want just to survive. you look up and years have past and you wonder like how tf did I get here? I wanted to do film! - well between working 2 jobs in TV I want to figure out a way to do more film/video work.)

I hope you all meet your goals and become even better in the New Year too! Good thread OP

Yo man dont focus on being a more likeable person, focus on being you. Maybe being more personable, but not likeable.
