Honestly i'm not surprised. Being humiliated on national T.V, still oweing her money, and still having her *#$%$ at you was enough to make him snap

On the real, I would never embarrass my kid like that on T.V. Apparently he owed her something like 14 grand... small claims court limit is 5,000 (show pays the judgement). My guess was she took him on the show for 2 reasons:

• She knew she'd get the money
• Wanted to "teach" her son a lesson by putting this on TV

First off, I wouldn't let no son of mine watch $14,000 worth of porn (he paid for it? that's another issue entirely). I don't even know how that's possible to rack up such a charge and be oblivious to it for so long. Second, I would have kicked his *@# out till he payed me what he owed me, or worked it off. You always got to take the most sensible approach when dealing with anyone, unless you're fully equipped to deal with what might happen if you take a more drastic route. This is what happens when good parenting plays second to the almighty dollar.

(I'm in no way condoning what the kid did. He's a lame and should (and will) spend the rest of his life in prison. But let's not act like this couldn't have been avoided.)

To make another comment, I don't really think she put him on the show for the money at all. It was mainly for the embarrassment factor. Public humiliation will spur people into action...and in this case it backfired on her.

My condolences to the family...because her other children didn't deserve this no matter what the circumstances were. His brother is away in the Air Force and he hears his brother killed his mom? His other brother has to move with a neighbor to finish school?

I'm a firm believer in keeping family matters in house. There's no REAL justification for going on a TV court show.

Man the producers on TV shows, tell you one thing to get u in and once you are there flip flop everything to make it more entertaining. I'm sure they pushed the mom to say things she didnt wanna and conversely pushed him to be there and then be "attacked" with a different script.
