Not paying my fair share huh? If i am consuming for resources I am paying more in taxes am i not? If i buy more gas i am contributing more in taxes and if i buy more clothes i pay more in tax than someone who doesnt buy as much. While the percentage may be the same that is more than made up for when you account for my federal income tax where i pay ~30% and someone else pays $0 and probably actually gets money through the earned income credit.

LIKE I SAID THE TOP 10% pay 71% of FEDERAL INCOME TAX and the botto 50% pay 3%

Exactly why do I need to be paying 45% when others pay nothing. If you add that with state income tax in some states you are up to over 55% of MY INCOME being garnished by the government. Yea thanks but no thanks.

right because republicans never resented a democrat president before Obama, did they? republicans don't like democrat presidents just like democrats don't like republican presidents. from what i remember, clinton and carter had a MUCH harder time with republicans than obama has. republicans spent millions of taxpayer dollars trying to get clinton out of office with that whole lewinsky thing, and republicans have fond memories of reagan overturning just about everything jimmy carter did in less than a week.

Son, that small scale that the apparatus you speak of sits on - will never grow. I've pretty much given up hope. Israel just bombarded the Gaza strip, terrorizing and killing 14 civilians and not one American news source reported it. Not one American political figure spoke on it. And I'm playing right into their hand? What should I do? Stand on the corner with a board attached to a stick that reads 'STOP THE #%#$@+%# ISRAEL.'
I've learned to accept that these things won't change, that evil is supported by evil and in this day and age - ethnic cleansing, oppression, mass murder, racism and prejudice is ok - as long as Israel is doing it. No one candidate would fully support Palestine, nor even announce it before ever reaching election.
