for the music and keep up with the artists shows and what not..

also for the fact that I don't feel like creating any other type of account be it twitter, fb, or some other alias social network.

Go to:

-Account Settings
-Look under 'Account Cancellation' and press 'Cancel Account'

There might be some more steps but that should do it.
