Maybe wearing the glasses is the issue? I am the same way, I don't like wearing glasses - these seem like they'd be even more uncomfy. I don't even like the cheap/light 3d glasses that are at the theaters.

Gizmodo says $800 and Engadget says $600. They're converting the price from yen and estimatimg it in dollars.

Precisely.
I've never gotten used to glasses in general, even now that I wear sunglasses all the time for UV protection
