Sony Bravia question...is it worth fixing?

so me and my maintenance guy was doing e-waste recyclying because our work upgraded to lcd's and we was throwing away some of our old t.v.'s.. while doing this, we ran into some lcd sony bravia's 42 and 52 inch...but the guy who was in charge of the e-waste said that some of them might not power up and some of them has a broken screen.. well i took the 52 inch FOR FREE and basically the t.v cost about 2 g's (not really sure) but the top screen has a cracked.. do you guys think this is worth fixing and is it even fixable? thanks in advance..

find out how much it is to fix it and take it from there...you can sell it or keep it

well i did call 1 technician and i explained to him what happend and he said its not worth fixing.. i kinda wanted to get another opinion.. that guy that i called works on his van..lol..
