Star of Spartacus, Andy Whitefiled dead at 39

So sad. I thought I read a while ago that he was recovering. R.I.P.

 R.I.P. The show was great and from listening to dude in interviews he always came off as a really nice person.

dude was the reason the first season of spartacus was great.

Sucks to see him go, really thought he would get better.

His replacement is Liam McIntyre ...

I don't think he could do better but I hope he can do as good ..

I really love the show and I think his performance was great - I didn't think the prequel was as good - but I still have hopes for the show!
 
This came out of nowhere because I thought he was recovering very well. The guy portrayed Spartacus very well and the series was very entertaining from start to finish. Sad to see him go.
 
wow.. this is really nuts. he was so great in Spartacus Season 1.. RIP Andy, that battle is a hard battle to fight.

Nooo, my favorite show man. RIP to Andy, he had so much potential..

.. He played that Spartacus roll perfectly. It's going to be hard to watch the new guy try and fill his shoes.
