I think I'm leanin here. I could be talked into 6 over 3, or maybe 4 over Rogue One, but as NT23 said, I still love them all. They make me mad, but they're still Star Wars. I had 8 higher initially, but over time I'm good with it here in the middle. The Rey/Kylo scene is certainly one of the top 5 scenes tho. Hope 9 slots in there in the top 3-4 somewhere, and then anxious to see what direction they go with the GoT trilogy, and the Rian trilogy. (and then whatever else)

the lists can go anyway. The only thing I’d say and agree with CP is I don’t hate any Star Wars movie. I will watch them all even the last Jedi which makes me cringe but here y’all go

I also love the fact that Disney wants you to move on from the OT stars. Create a new land from a new planet for their parks set during the first order time but yet invite the OT guys for opening

They coulda sent him and rose to a planet where Finn did his training or enlisted and tried to find the translator while Finn went down memory lane.

I think that's more Lucasfilm and whoever spearheaded this sequel trilogy story that is straight up telling fans to move on from the iconic stars of the franchise.
Disney to me is just on board with the fact that they'll have to eventually move on from them but they'll still honor and milk the OGs as much as they can.
Thats probably another thing about why this trilogy isn't good. They went out of their way to make thr meta message and direct message to move on from past Star Wars while not giving anything to really could look forward too. They could've easily told a story that killed the OGs where the main focus was actually to propel the franchise forward.

I dunno what slander is going on in here about Rogue One but that’s an overall excellent film. It’s very emotional, raw, no story book ending or super unrealistic situations. It’s easily the best made film in my opinion. It’s just not something that appealing to kids id say. I wish they would make an Old Republic trilogy / set of movies with that same tone and intensity (if not much more). Rogue One obviously a side film so it’s not truly a Star Wars Jedi and Sith with lightsabers type of flick but as a stand-alone movie it’s really good.

Completely agree! Rouge One was an actual war film. And it felt like it. Like i remember feeling the desperation of the Rebal Alliance during the Battle of Scarif. As of this date no other star WARS movie has ever captured that feeling for me. Rogue One to date is still my all time fav SW film ( post original trilogy of course)

I respect all rankings but solo is so trash it doesn’t belong. I’d just replace solo with darth maul scene and your rankings will make sense.

Solo was okay. Took me a second viewing to actually finish and I ended up liking the third act a whole lot.
