I admit it is pretty funny how J.J. created a bunch of loose ends, threw the hot potato up in the air, it landed in Rian's lap, he closed some and opened some new questions, and threw the hot potato back up in the air and it's coming back to J.J... Rian's over here going

Snoke was arrogant. He lost sight of what he should have been focusing on, the conflict in Kylo. He was so thrilled to see himself in Kylo that he overlooked conflict and let his guard down. Arrogance was his downfall, as it was Palpatine's, and most likely it will be Kylos. Lukes downfall was arrogance but he realized and learned. He learned from his mistakes as Yoda said. Y'all hate to see Snoke die so easily but you're overlooking why he died.

Kylo easily deaded snoke bc he is stronger than him. Just bc Snoke was the leader doesn’t mean he was all powerful. Who cares about his backstory. Snoke is like that one boss you got that only got his position bc he outlasted everybody and been there for years. He was clearly playing mind games with Kylo and Rey. Kylo killing him and the way he did it was more entertaining than to me than the typical ending. We would have saw Rey “become one with the force” and stop him. Lol, boring...the fight scene in the throne room was AMAZING. The bad guy and good guy(girl) fighting back to back. I think people should really focus on enjoying the film and not over analyzing. It’s just a movie brah.

What no. Snoke clearly was more powerful then both of them. I don’t mind him dying but going out like that. He literally punkes kylo in the beginning. Even Rey couldn’t get the lightsaber from him.

Can we agree
that empire>first order. Seriously what has gone right for the first order? Their star killer base destroyed. Their dreadnaught destroyed. They had the resistance cornered and ended up with nothing. Even the specialists had a victory by now

Convinced Hamill signed the contract for this film before he knew he would have to perform character assassination on Luke Skywalker. How are we suppose to understand that the same Luke Skywalker who threw his lightsaber down in the EMPEROR’S face, raised his lightsaber on his ***** *** nephew while he was sleep? Over bad thoughts and feelings descention into the dark side from Snoke?? So he never went after Snoke?? How does he even know who snoke is???

Dog....

I’m pretty sure he has stated that he didn’t like the way Luke was written in this trilogy and that Disney should of had Lucas help out. It was much different. People hate on Lucas but it was ideas not multiple people.

This and This... I also dont know how people aren't in more of an uproar over Luke's character and the lack of character of Snoke. Like this is the villain who rose up after Vader and the Emperor and is powerful enough to tempt and taint Luke's nephew and pupil...but we get no info on him? He dies so easily?

This Luke doesn't even matter anyways. EU Luke >>>>>>>>>>>>>*

And he's not "done" yet. He has plenty to do in 9 that will impact the trilogy

Doesn't Luke explain that though? He sensed a darkness and power he's never felt and that he saw his future. Then he realized his mistake after he drew his saber. Could have been handled better, but there was an explanation. :rolleyes As far as Luke dropping the saber in front of the emperor, didn't he do that because he felt the good in Vadar and want to make him make a move and save him or stop the emperor? I got the impression he didn't sense any good in Ben which is why Rey gave him the speech about Luke's mistaken in making the decision for him. just my two cents

It's ok though because we get Rose. A character we're supposed to fall in love with because her sister died, and that she was an orphan too, and that she risked her life to save Finn? Who says Disney doesn't give backstories?:rolleyes

MOVIE SUCKED

I LIKE MY MOVIES DARK

CANT BELIEVE THIS THE DUDE THAT GAVE US LOOPER

KYLO PUT YOUR MASK BACK ON
That what ruined it for me
Kylo could be so cool with the mask that voice

I believe the word Luke used so poignantly was HUBRIS. To borrow from Pixar's The Incredibles, snoke was caught monologuing...

Whose to say that's the end of him though... Whose to say Kylo was lying to Rey about her parents...

Every time I see snoke, I think of one of the lead deplorables...

If he felt like there was no good in Ben before the situation occured, why is he blaming himself for Ben’s fall? How does Luke Skywalker still believe in goodness in the biggest mass murderer in the galaxy who had already murderer thousands yet sees no hope in his nephew who hadn’t committed any acts yet?

Rian Johnson is a ****ing hack.

SPOILER BELOW:

Also... we waited TWO YEARS to see what was going to happen when Rey handed Luke the lightsaber that his father left him that he got from obi wan that was lost in empire strikes Back... and when the big moment comes... they have him throw it over his shoulder onto some rocks for a big joke?

Like even if he didn’t believe in the Jedi anymore... that legit made no sense and was lazy. Doesn’t speak to his character at all. Especially since the saber was so important and is a direct contradiction to other aspects of him in the film. Because he is preserving the ancient Jedi text and grounds but gonna throw the most
Important lightsaber in the saga away like an old bagel?

After watching TLJ, I wish Lucas would’ve made the sequel trilogy back the late 80s, early 90s instead, and then Disney make the prequels now.
