STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

 @ all this calf raise talk and the subsequent reps of robin thicke's joking post.

the circle jerk is strong in the BB community.

I do something similar to the Cindy. Didn't actually know that's what it was though.

Plank, push ups, squats do a few rounds with no rest to warm up. Sometimes pull-ups instead of push ups. On an incline, also.

What are those red sneakers with the 3 white stripes that everyone wears to squat/deadlift, etc..

Did a Hero WOD today "TD"

Completed in 33:47 scaled down to max load of 115lbs

1 round of TD = 12 DLs, 9 hang power cleans, 6 pushjerks

So it went
TD x 4 (75lbs) rest 1 minute
TD x 3 (75lbs) rest 2 mins
TD x 2 (95lbs) rest 3 mins
TD x 1 (95lbs) rest 4 mins
TD x 1 (105lbs) rest 5 mins
TD x 1 (115lbs)

Rx was a max load of 155lbs and starting @ 95lbs

Hit legs this morning.  Did some front squats, Lunges, Machine Hack Squats, Leg Extensions and Lying Leg Curls.

Don't mind the lousy gym music and the screen orientation....lol

Lunges are the devil. I do them with DBs after front squats and my hamstrings are sore for the next couple days.

Yeah ****** lunges!

I hate them

Btw if ya want to do 1 excersice and be done for the day, pull 75 thrusters for time @ 95lbs

Thrusters >>>>>>>

I hate them too though

Good luck socks for today's squats
400

coming into this, i was agile but my legs were weak as hell. it's funny how certain exercises can reveal such a random deficiency...  i hated db lunges after a few tries but i hate feeling inadequate even more so i devoted myself to getting better. i saw solid growth in my hamstrings and overall balance after a few months.

Yup thats them.. $200 :smh: lol ill stick to roshes and chucks

One week in, and worth every penny. Got them with the 20% eastbay promo code. I wouldn't work out in Roshe's though. No support in the upper, and the midsole/sole is too thick and unstable.

This looks like the DT.

12 DL's, 9 Hang Cleans, 6 Push Jerks. 5 rounds for time @155. Did it last week, did it in 12 minutes.

Might give this a shot, 95-115-135-155, is that the progression?

at my gym there are those strap things with handles (not rings) that you can hang in the power cage. any suggestions on some decent ones that are fairly priced? thanks.
