Storage rooms and Jordans? Vol Will a grown man cry?

OK so here is the deal

I have 40+ Jordan's of various models and some other shoes in a indoor storage container with various household things in NY. They have been in plastic storage containers in their boxes Stacked high unmoved for 3+ years. The shoes have been left alone since I went to college and put in the storage area when my mom headed to Georgia to help my grandmother.

I will be going to check on the container come July. Will these sneakers be dust or cracking when I get there. Some of there are 8 years old now or am I just worrying too much?

if its not temperature regulated ESPECIALLY in ny, i would only hope for the best. Midsole glue isn't indestructable..
