 In an experiment carried out at the University of California, Berkeley in 1991, a Periplaneta americana registered a record speed of 5.4 kilometres per hour (3.4 mph), about 50 body lengths per second, which would be comparable to a human running at 330 kilometres per hour (210 mph).

man...I live and grew up in echo park/koreatown/mc arthur park LA so roaches were everywhere....roaches are just so disgusting to me.  I once had one crawled on me while I slept....traumatized for life man.  I pretty much won't even try to kill one cause I have like a 100:1 advantage on it.

Yeah... Downtown area x old building = roach heaven

impossible to kill them cause the neighbor might not care so their roaches come to your crib

Man like 2 years ago I had the biggest spider drop down in front of my screen. All lights were off except for the screen, I flipped. Pushed desk against wall, monitor fell, I screamed and didn't sleep for the whole night. I am deathly afraid of spiders, and this had me shook as a motha.
