Super Rare Vintage mystery shoes! can you identify them?

My dad gave me a pair of old sneakers that he had perchased a long time and can't remeber what model they are.... I have looked long and hard on sneakerhead sites and ebay with no matches...

There is no labeling, no tags, and no numbers  anyware on the entire shoe other than the word "Nike" and the Nike swoosh.

the shoes have:

-lace-to-toe

-air front and rear cup soal

-navy blue leather

-fuzzy navy blue liner

-foam insoal with attatched foam arch pad

-intresting plastic heal cup

-wonderfull minimalistic vintage look

-super comfortable construction

-duable all around build

Thanks! your right, it looks exactly the same except for the soal. this is a perfect starting point to find what they are!

It turnes out that you are absoutly correct! they are a 1995 Nike Sweet Lew mid

extreamly rare, not even a single picture that I could find of them other than one Add photo that Nike's wonderfull customer service lady found for me, very nice, very helpful. Nike has excellent customer service.

Notice how mine are in "French Blue", my ancestors are partaly French, so I have allways had a bit of a soft spot for things(or colors) that are french. I'm a little proud, woulden't mind going back to ware my ancestors came from either.. so much quality in france and only 3 day work weeks!

yea, you are a sneaker genius, I have no idea how you could have known about the Sweet Lew, you are so cool.

another thing that is realy cool is I coresponded with nike to do more than just confirm your statment, I asked them to make the Sweet Lew Mid again and there design team is, at my request, reviewing the 1995 Sweet Lew Mid to conscider putting it back on the market! They love the pictures I posted of it and the 7 paragraph description I sent them aparently...

I am just so excited!

just because they arn't neon red with a huge "jump man", dosen't mean they are ugly... they are just understated like converse, only more comfortable.

BTW: I do have neon red jordans with a huge jump man and all kinds of super flashy shoes, but then I just put on my plain old comfortable lace-to-toe high-top sneakers and stop thinking about shoes... They perform much better then eather my retro 1's or my retro 5's, not even joking...
