I was waiting for someone to come in here and bring up the drowning incident at Chappaquiddick, yes it was terrible it happen and Ted probably could have handled it much better
You think?
It would've been hard for him to handle it any worse.
I was waiting for someone to come in here and bring up the drowning incident at Chappaquiddick, yes it was terrible it happen and Ted probably could have handled it much better but don't let it overshadow his achievements, I hate when ever someone of great stature passes the negative is always the first to be highlighted.
You make it sound as if people are wrong for doing so. The man killed someone and he and his family went above and beyond to cover it up. It doesnt have toovershadow his achievments but it certainly should not be swept under the rug. Great stature does not equal great person.
I'm really hoping that was a sarcastic remark.Originally Posted by LimitedRetroOG

Kennedy died on August 25, 2009 at his home in Hyannisport, Massachusetts. His death has been described as hilarious. [sup][20[/sup]

But getting back to being a realist: I hope the statists and collectivists don't leverage this event into an emotional appeal to pass government healthcare.
$10 says some bureaucratic flunky will raise Kennedy's "legacy" and "lifelong ambition" as an impetus to drive the healthcare bill thru Congress.
