The Book of Basketball - Whos read it?

Just in the middle of reading the book (Volume 2 though...), on the part with the hall of fame pyramid. So far loving everything about it.

Who's read this one, and thoughts on the book?

Also has anyone read any of the other books mentioned in this one? A large number of them are referenced, wondering which ones are good reads also.

I think Simmons listed all the books referenced, and categorized them based on how good a reads they are.

It's good. The Pyramid is certainly an interesting exercise.

He borrows heavily from David Halberstam's Breaks Of The Game, which is an amazing book.

It's decent; it's an entertaining read to me. Lots of cool stories within the book.
