I'm was just having a convo about these sucka like mindsets, dudes complain about black business not thriving, love to talk about black unity & trying to stick together & create a sustainable system headed by us. That's all fine and got all the support until a ***** get too rich & then the backlash comes. Dudes talk down about black people getting into business with white people, but will constantly bash the black business and look at it as inferior. Then wonder why the business model isn't sustained & is usually sold to white businessmen.

also let me get this straight Jay who with his wife are a combined Billion, are literally ICON status in ALL OF MUSIC, basically started the modern version of the distribution deal in question (Tidal is a distributor that is owned majority by artist, a large percentage of those black artist), has openly and secretly contributed millions to black organizations, is well doused in 5% knowledge & seems to have ties with every major black star alive isn't a threat.

I LOVE the things Irv stands for, yet again put himself in a position where he was dealing in business with a guy heavily involved in the streets, violence all around his clique. At the end of the day Most of his empire crashed, doesn't have a 10th of the influence he had at his height, and doesn't really have any say in what the new generation does.... he's a threat? no he's an asset
Jay Prince, i don't really have specifics on him just a bunch of hear say, but the way people talk about him it's made to seem like he's still very street oriented... therefore that influence & reach is limited in what he can achieve. If your influence doesn't go past rap music and again you don't have much influence over the youth... he's a threat? no he's an asset
So yeah i'm sure white america loves a black man with knowledge of self, CONSTANTLY helping other young black men become millionaires & grow their brands, promotes being an entrepreneur, promotes being a family member, promotes breaking barriers.. that's the guy they don't fear, but the ****** dealing with street **** and stuck in legal battles with much less influence have these white business men shaking in their offices.

However in this world whenever wee see white skin we were trained to believe that white man is more important or smarter or more influential. So when jay does any PARTNERSHIP with white business suddenly the narrative becomes look at him "needing" that white man.
