The differences in AJ 2012s?

Sup, I havent bought Jordans in a minute and am going to pick up a pair of AJ 2012s to hoop in, but I'm really confused.

So, they have the QUICK, LITE, and AIR versions of these shoes, wtf is the difference? Whatever happened to just one type of signature shoe ? Is the difference just the cut and the insole? I have no idea which shoe to buy, because if I go to the 2012 homepage and click buy, it takes me to the AIR 2012 shoe...wtf...which is the real signature version shoe?

Ok, I feel like an idiot. Didn't know there were 3 different types of shoes for 3 different types of players :x
