Team Alpha Male in the building. 3-0 sweep is unlikely, but I'm hoping.

Confidence in this order: Mendes, Faber, Benavidez.

I'm thinking Mendes hurt his hand in that early flurry, this Lay N Pray style isn't typical...

Not Money's most impressive fight, but got the job done. Bang's work has paid off and it shows.

Benavidez brother is my neighbor and he's been hyped about this fight for a while.
I'm hoping benavidez can get the W.

    WOW.

Jaw actually dropped on that one. The last thing I expected to happen, happened.

MM's elite hand speed and technique with the power flashed tonight is a scary proposition for 125.

Money and Faber gonna be consoling Benavidez tonight.

I still think a Dodson can take that belt a second time around, but props to MM tonight. Two finishes in a row at 125 :smokin

Agreed, Dodson hurt/stunned MM twice. Just couldn't finish and faded late. Had no answer for the Muay Thai clinch.

Maico: Faber rocked McDonald with an overhand right. Followed by another punch with Mayday against the cage. Then finished with a sub, tight guillotine choke.

Faber pursuing Mayday reminded me of Lesnar/Herring. Urijah was out for blood.

Knockout of the night- mighty mouse, sub of the night- faber, fight of the night- barboza vs castillo

I was not able to watch barboza vs castillo. Was it good? I heard there is some controversy on the decision.

I fear Benavidez has Faber syndrome. Clean out the division, but can't beat the champ.

Faber has to get winner of Cruz/Barao next, and I don't see him beating either with another try.

Faber syndrome? Junior dos santos also show symptoms of that condition hahaha.

Just watched the barboza fight. In my eyes he was the clear winner. Dat referee though hahaha.

I was expecting faber and mighty mouse to win. But not in that manner though. Surely there is some improvement.

Crazy thing is everyone thought Faber would takedown Mayday to avoid his power in the standup. California Kid was picking apart McDonald with his hands. That's credit to Bang. Good, hard, clean shots to negate McDonald's power and test his chin. Even he must have been surprised. We all thought Mayday would spend the fight off his back.

We don't know how Cruz will look, but I definitely don't see Faber taking the belt from barao. But I will be crossing my fingers Faber becomes champ

I can't wait for aldo mendes II. Will be close battle, mendes apparently had a bad sinus infection

    Urijah looked tremendous :pimp:

I can't rock with MM for some reason. His ability is undeniable but there's something about him....

Good k.o all the same

Dana said he offered Nick Diaz a rematch with Condit after the fight last night and Diaz declined. Diaz said he is targeting a return in May. Come on Diaz

Rogan said it best. His technique is top notch. Doesn't load up on punches. Doesn't over commit.

May not lead to a ton of knockouts, but that's what happens a lot when you favor technique over power. Eventually though you'll land clean enough to rock your opponent.

Reminds me of the argument I had about Frankie Edgar in here a while back. Or even a Guillermo Rigondeaux on the boxing front.

Hopefully a fight like this will land DJ on some more PPVs now. He's a phenomenal fighter.

Great night of FREE fights overall including the Showtime card. :smokin
