to me, nate was a **** talking scrappy fighter who was a gate keeper for the division. he was fighting for scraps on a bad contract with a whole bunch of Ls on that record. if anything, that fight made nate diaz a bigger star. conor was already a huge star at that point
the fact that nate made him tap out :lol:
 
Losing to nate showed everyone how Conor deals with adversity, and to his credit it was with class and he bounced back and won, not to mention the next fight where he dominated Eddie Alvarez. It was great for Nate, not detrimental for Conor imo
 
Yeah but Connor has shown the same traits since then. Mayweather. Then Khabib.

I’ll give him props for stepping up to the challenge. But he got outclassed by the GOAT boxer. Then by the GOAT grappler.
 
Tonon looks solid at 3-0. His striking is decent. He used a lot of kicks in that fight. That sweep in the first round was great. And it was academic when he got him on the ground in the second.

Competition is a bit questionable. BJJ superfight would be Dani’s vs Tonon. One vs Bellator.

They’ve grappled a few times before pretty sure tonon is 2-0
 
Sorry I should’ve said MMA super fight lol. Feel like Tonon has it with his striking and grappling.

This is like the fight for the true TUF crown of their season. Pena has tons of potential and looking forward to see if hes legit.
 
Bare knuckle boxing is not the place for a guy who is a wrestler at his core.

I don’t care how good he thought his striking was in MMA.

If Rampage, Chael, Tito, Chuck can fight for Bellator so can Johnny Burger Hendricks. Could have matched whatever bare knuckle offered for sure.
