The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- UFC 300 ON NOW

Askren doesn’t want it with Masvidal. He doesn’t want it with Robbie.

He’s cherry picking his opponents.

Masvidal will fight Wonderboy, Till, etc. Besides Colby, he’s got no reservations.

UFC IG page put Edwards fight photo up..Comment section nuts right now
:lol::lol:

"Gamebred" with the running start resulting in an accidental low blow. Till dropped Masvidal with a straight left right on the button. Jorge wasn't in danger though, had his wits about him defending off his back. The straight left was money for Till in R1, landed at will. Also landed a left hook, left uppercut in a sequence against the cage to close the round.

Takedown by "Gamebred" in R2, goes straight for Till's back. Couldn't get hooks in, decent defense from Till in that position. Works back to his feet and they clinch against the cage. The stance switch reminiscent of T-Wood caught Till completely unaware. Filthy, filthy switch-stance left hook. Landed second left for good measure but Till was DONE. I view Masvidal more as a volume boxer, death by accumulation. Similar to Nick and Nate. But to his credit, Jorge has knocked out "Mutante," "Cowboy" and Ellenberger in recent memory.

It's looking more and more like the UFC fast-tracked Till for his Woodley title shot. His best win was a Cerrone KO. Narrow if not questionable decision against "Wonderboy," in which Till came in three pounds heavy. I don't really know where he goes from here. He looked good in R1 vs. Jorge before getting starched by the left hook. Till against Ponzinibbio would be a stand-up WAR. The UFC can do that fight in South America because Ponz is from Argentina and Till trained in Brasil for like 40+ months. Fluent in Portugues.

Till definitely does need some maturation in his game.

WW is starting to get deeper and the line for the title longer (Covington...Masvidal).

Usman, Covington, Woodley, Thompson, Till, Dos Anjos, Lawler, Ponzinibio, Maia, Edwards, Game Bred and Askren.

Too bad Diaz sitting on the side lines. Seems like a good time to capitalize.

A title shot wouldn’t be out of the question if he could string a win or two.

Thompson/Pettis is whatever.

But Barbosa/Gaethje is bananas. Followed by Blessed and Porier.

Conor actually put Max’s name in his mouth over the weekend. Max def responded and got the W

If max beats Dustin I wouldn’t be surprised to see stars aligning for the conor rematch in the summer

Then depending on what happens khabib can get the winner in November with Tony still lingering with his issues

should follow the wwe network model and put all their show on espn+ for monthly fee and scrap 60/month ppv

guess they expect people to subscribe monthly and pay additional for PPVs

Lame move by UFC/ESPN, so if you're a new subscriber you can pay $80 for the year that includes a whopping one PPV and then have to pay $59.99 for the rest?!?!? They really need to have some package deal where all the PPV's are included, I'd pay 10-15 a month for that if it also included ESPN+ and Fightpass.
