A champion of inclusion to make his step child feel included in the new family his mom cheated on the first kid’s father with. Real boss move. (Edit: may not have been the first husband she cheated on, but I recall she was in a relationship when she began pursuing Garry. She was a cougar on the hunt).
Machado is the wife’s mother’s maiden name, her pops is a white Englishman with a surname of Lee. Professionally she uses her father’s surname, not her mom‘s. Ex-husband is also a white Englishman with the surname Cullen.
No mental gymnastics convincing me it is anything other Garry wanting a Brazilian name.
Names aside, time for Garry to get a fight against somebody he isn’t a massive favorite against.

He made similar clownish statements in the past declaring that unlike Usman, Adesanya, and Ngannou he would be a the true African champ. Because he wasn’t just born there, he lives and trains there.
