There are reports that putting it in rest mode will mess it up. I have used rest mode every time so far and apart from a couple game crashes, everything is good. But I do make sure to exit the game so I wouldn't put it in rest mode with any game running.
There are also issues with connecting any external storage so I would stay away from that.
And when setting it up there is a ps4 transfer feature which is also bricking systems so just skip that and re-download all your purchases or re-install the game with the disc.

That’s GS for you. They are known to secure their own systems before giving them to the public. Managers are even known to take multiples before launches. GS is a cluster of shadiness.

Thankful for getting one during the pre-order wave and I don't have to deal with the nonsense/frustration of getting one of the many restock.

Its a tough time to buy for next-gen gaming but at least the holiday return policy is in effect in case you want to exchange or return.

Finally put in some time into MM and unlocked his main suit. (I've been playing the Spider-Verse suit).

I wanted the Kobe steelbook, eBay sales are around $35.
So I bought the game + steelbook on sale at Best Buy for $80. Kept the steelbook and sold the game on eBay for the same price = Free steelbook
My son has been loving GOT, non-stop for 2 days. Just picked up Demon Souls.
