I believe you take it to a jeweler and they take links out.

Pretty straight forward, send it back and have them fix it or find a jeweler that can do custom work so you get a great fix.

was just about to say this... 24 is perfect... anything shorter wont go over your head... but 22 is not bad either if you wearing without a charm... the most i would go is 26 but thats just me
