Flyknit eh? That is crazy. But like guys been saying, I am sure its not like the runners, has to be woven in certain areas because that wouldn't give any lateral support. I am sure these are gonna be priced at $160 since the Flyknit Lunar1 is $160 and the Trainer and Racer are $150.

 

I'm actually a little worried about these.  I am not a fan of Flyknit chukkas, and if these are mid I may not like them.  However, I do love my three pairs of Flyknits.  There is no limit to what can be done with the colorways.  I'm looking forward to seeing the shoe.

 

I actually think the Chukka's are the best model out the Flyknit series to date, amazing IMO but before I had a pair I was skeptical. I'm excited to see what will be done with the 9's..... I'm a Flyknit addict and I love the Kobe line so this is combining my 2 favorites

the question is.. will flynit be supportive enough? i mean for running shoes sure, you're RUNNING. i actually play ball in my shoes, whereas most on this forum buy shoes and either store them in the closet or wear them once a year for a special event.

but cutting, jumping? iunno man.. will have to wait and see.

I love my Flyknit Racers and Trainers... combine that with the comfort of the Kobe 8, and this could possibly be magic in the making...

 

For me it's comfort and style...and something different...ever since the Olympics I've been a flyknit fan, love my lunars and chukkas

Flyknit is nice, but IMO its overrated and overpriced... I hope I don't feel the same when the 9s drop.

I'm ready..... I prefer mids for ball.

I like flyknit for the most part but I feel like they could've continued to build on the EM. All in all I'm excited.

I wanna see kobe play in these because the flyknit does surprise me. I mean him coming off a big injury like that and not wanting something stronger to support him surprises me but nike knows what they are doing

 

I would have thought they were going with the fuse material. Or that new armor material on the lebron 11. I hope they are sexy.

 

i really hope they arent mids, i love the lowtop look of the 8s.  i also pray that they dont do the stupid toe swoosh like the KD6/Hyperdunk2012/mambacurial/soccer cleat

 

Worries about the side to side movement with flyknit.
