The Official NBA Season Thread: Terry Rozier Under Investigation

I greatly underestimated Amen Thompson’s game

Me too

I know it wouldn’t be “good for the team” but I wish one of these owners would just tell a mf they’re not getting traded and let his *** sit for however long

I have never in my life said to myself” yeah this team needs jimmy butler”. He’s done a good job of making it in the league but he’s really tripping.

And jog my memory but didn’t this kinda stuff go down with the bulls, wolves and philly?

You know maybe it’s just me but if the Heat ain’t trying to win a ring I would enjoy my no state income tax and reminisce on better times at the booby trap 😂😂 and enjoy my ridiculous salary in Miami lol

100% agreed prior to his Miami playoff runs. Thought he was vastly overrated and thought the Heat wasted their cap space to get eliminated in the first round every year.

But then he proved to be a championship player, Riley just didn’t hold up his end of the bargain.

Even at 35 I still think Jimmy can help you a lot if you’re 1 piece away.

But he’s chasing a contract now. Don’t know what he expected with Miami. If Riley didn’t pay Wade he’s not giving anybody a legacy contract.

Riley is a minority owner of the team, I think he’s up to 20% now, he’s never getting fired, it will always be his show.

Knicks spent four 1st on Mikal when Jimmy going to be available for half that price.

And yes, I know with KAT there it probably wouldn't have worked but still.

In the modern NBA, has a team ever come close to a championship when they had one guy filling both the coach and GM roles? Il

I can’t think of one.

Technically Pop, but he obviously doesn't/didn't do the day to day GM tasks.

I guess Riley back in 2006 too.
