Knew it'd be crossover, as much more iconic as it is they were never gonna do Ty Lue like that creating the stepover for the statue :lol:

Hand to the ear would've been cool as well but this captures AD'S essence more. They did a good job :pimp:
 
How does that "statue" make it through the dozens of people it needs to for approvals without someone stopping the process and mentioning, "Maybe we should make it the size of an actual statue".

I get this if it's my local WHL hockey team with a limited budget and resources. You're a franchise worth several billion dollars. This just looks half-baked.
 
All these player statues made me realize just how difficult it probably is to accurately portray a person or a moment with steel. Most of these statues look horrible.
