The Official NBA Thread: Celtics Lead 2-0 in the NBA Finals | Dan Hurley Returning to UCONN

Mavs need to go get Bridges
Ain't got the bullets.

Maybe maaaaaaybe in the offseason you could swing Hardy and the two firsts for him. But even that's probably light.
Unless the Pels are giving up BI and like 7 picks, I have a hard time believing anybody was topping this PHX trade for KD.

According to Woj, nothing like this package had been on the table from them until Ishbia took over. They didn’t necessarily want to trade KD, but felt like they couldn’t pass up this haul.
People freaking out about it but Bridges and Cam plus all the picks is a damn solid return for a 35-year old (albeit an elite as **** one) with chronic leg issues that demanded a trade 4 months ago and everyone on the planet knows you have to move in the next 7 months.

Especially when it's a guy you're apparently trying to do right by on the way out the door and facilitate getting him where he wants to be.

Nets are an embarrassment. The last few seasons have resulted in nothing. Never thought it was a good idea to get star players who cause drama everywhere they go. Now all they have left is ben simmons. SMH.

Everything is getting too complicated. At this point the players and FO’s are trying to burn the house down together

To be fair, they’re basically right back where they were prior to the KD/Cryrie signings.

Was worth the gamble. Just didn’t work out.

Boston offered Payton Pritchard, Danilo Gallinari and multiple future second-round picks.

Figured that’s what it was gonna be. Moving their only tradable first for a guy that wouldn’t start AND might just bolt at the end of the year probably wouldn’t have been wise.

I wonder if they try to go for Plumlee next.

My thing is that the Nets weren’t getting star players that would have them at the top conference otherwise so if 2 BFF mercurial superstars want to sign with you then a year later what you trade for their superstar friend you HAVE to do it because it is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a team like the Nets. Who knows if the next time they’ll have a superstar playing at an elite level on their team let alone three team.

High risk, high reward but unfortunately it didn’t pan out for a myriad of reasons.

It only doesn't make sense because the Nets traded Kyrie for what seemed like a deal in which they were still trying to compete.

But they didn't want Kyrie in LA.

Three 1's for Mikal Bridges or OG is wild egregious but the market is the market.

Bridges is rarely hurt.

Dude has played at least 72 games every season he has been in the league. Played in all 82 last year, and every game this year.

If I am picking between the two, this gives Bridges an edge.

He has never missed a game in his career. 400 straight including the playoffs. The anti-KD and Kyrie when it comes to health. Would be cool to see him traded to another contender.

NBA fans deserve a proper 30 for 30 on this. Probably wont get proper one until at least both KD and kyrie retire.
