think ill join in on the assignment. i used to carry a camera with me everywhere i went, but i havent done that in over 10 years. i guess i have to learn howto take good pics again.
im pissing in here to leave my mark lol.. peace out ksteezy. about less than 15°F outside doin rig shots = frostbite
Ah, nice too see that we are starting over again...the last thread got derailed in the quickness. Anyways, as a lurker in the previous 2 threads I think I am going to start contributing more. Here are a few random shots... "Our People, Our Community" The cab happened to stop at the perfect time... and of course...the cliche' pano, just for kicks
Always been a fan of your photos. Great composition on your rig shots and sharp as usual, especially the second from last shot.
Absolutely beautiful, both the photo and the message. I'm saving this one man... u need to tag this. Like, I seriously have chills this issooo moving.
Dude, what you've shown has really impressed me. I'd honestly be interested in seeing more of what you've taken.
Well since the old thread is gone (R.I.P) I think we should start this thread off with some type of year in review. Everyone should pick 5-10 of therefavorite images from the year of 2009 and share with everyone. I will post some of my shots once i go through them all.
Can anyone suggest a new ballhead...I used to have a Bogen 488RC2. It was a good ball head...not sure if theres something better/easier to use out there.
i second this. i think 10 is too many though, 5 sounds about right. the more pictures people put in one post, the less each one is looked at. it's like visual diarrhea a lot of the time, esp. when self-editing goes to hell . ^^nice shot under the pier cameltrophy. i dig that composition
Thanks for the advice and tips. People are real responsive and helpful throughout this thread. Hope it stays that way and not like the last one.
the S90 looks NICE but its a bit pricey.. we shall see.. its the holiday season.. maybe i can get one as a gift cameltrophy24 - Niceee stuff
Awesome to see another Olympus user in here (seems everyone else either shoots Canon or Nikon). What camera are you shooting with? here's some old pics off the flickr:
Rap taking the reins......good job dude. We really needed a reference page for basic stuff. Maybe you can add the questions that always gets asked likebeginner DLSRs and even good point and shoots. That way, we can filter all the useless stuff and keep with general stuff that we always post or talk aboutthings that need more attention. Anyways....you know I love this post. Most of my 1800+ posts have been in this thread. Some junk over the weekend:
