We manufacturing fake polo now? 0]
Why not? Get a plain Ralph sweatshirt and print official graphics on it.
The sweatshirt is Ralph and the graphics are official Ralph vectors.
An official custom. Tag says Ralph already. Factory assembled.

How is it fake? The sweatshirt left a Ralph Lauren factory and the graphics are official non distorted vectors. A American hand instead of an Asian one did the printing. That's it.

Do store managers normally email when an item is in stock in their store and you requested a notification for the same item oos on Polo.com ?

Pretty crazy getting an email from the Malibu RRL GM - never happened to me before . Just assumed it must be cuz they’re hurting . If so , I hope everything turns out ok for the company . If not , awesome customer service .

Gonna do my best to support the brand either way

Authentic = of undisputed origin; genuine.

Custom = made to order for a particular customer by the manufacturer.

Ex: https://www.ralphlauren.com/custom?...create-your-own&altrurlID=men-create-your-own

A patch manufactured by Ralph Lauren sewn onto a shirt manufactured by Ralph Lauren, by Ralph Lauren = custom.

Unless / until Ralph Lauren sells its graphics (as they do their patches) I can see the argument that its "fake".

Dudes on here kill me, quick to cry about RL quality but want to peddle their interpretation of what they think the brand should do. What they don't understand is... It's not ralph and it never will be. The clownish behavior continues...

Gtfohwtbs!
Would you rather have a terry cloth sweatshirt with official stadium graphics and patches
in exact specification or a polyester shirt with heat press glued on letters?
Its Ralph Lauren specifications upcycled by Rico.

Upcycle not bootleg.

UP is the important part.

Upcycle that clothes. You deserve pre public Ralph.

Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality, such as artistic value or environmental value.

Ralph created the custom community. So what is the problem?

I would partner with Ralph as a Polo Sport atelier. Same as Gucci did with Dapper Dan.

Brooklyn Heights location.

It would bring the young into the brand and ... create scarcity since these stadium and sport designs can only be
purchased at the Polo Sport atelier in the heights. Just like Supreme. In store purchase only (most of the time).

The Polo Sport Atelier. Brooklyn Heights. Perfect Location.

I am a fan of classic sportswear. I collect sportswear.
What I have noticed is embroidering is coming back in other brands.

The metal snaps and embroidered lettering on the tommy is classic and timeless.

Embroidery and stitching.

This is what I want Polo Sport to get back to being.

Bear sweat shirt graphic feels like velvet. No fading.

Patches were huge. You can see the grooves in the cotton rugby.
Rugby was in a bin since 1996.Not dirty but Needs to be dry cleaned.

TH quietly released these and I missed it. I always get lucky finding stuff on euro sites.
SOLD OUT IN THE STATES.

To be better than the rest, you have to know the rest.

Ralph's best rugbies are these giants here. We won't see an embroidered replica tho.
We are not worthy of stitching and embroidery anymore. Thats life.

These 2 would be my first re release. Original form.
Atelier style. Embroidered.

Must admit, quality through the roof on these retros! WHY "Jeans", though. Never was official, back then. Should say straight Tommy Hilfiger. How do 'I' know??? Coca Cola Day, '86. Shelby County Rockets. This was no "collab" All Coca Cola, designed by some no name kid named on the payroll named "Tommy".
Coca Cola Day '86.jpg

Gear was SO effortless, back then. Today, this would be called a "photo shoot". Back then, we called it, "Tuesday".

Everyday was an EXPLOSION; gear, hip hop, euro rock, shoe game, some rookie named "Mike", Delorians. Man, I HATE old people.

TJ Maxx and Marshall’s getting all their fall winter polo stuff again. There was nothing during the summer/corona. They have the hi tech jackets again but they’re back up to $200

Where is this store located? None of these items ever make it to the sales floor where I live.
