For those that have the Indian polo version of that above mentioned rugby(the rugby version came first) this is the hat to that shirt .
Superbly constructed canvas/leather bill.
(I do not own this cap but have seen it in person. Can’t remember if there’s lining or not)

I went in on the native rugby/denim & supply when they was active. I don’t see RL releasing any more heavily considering the backlash during D&S run from many native nations

This is Rocket Fuel. Great examples of the Native American Icon. The D&S Tee was incredible, and you're right, it was loaded with Native American Heads and Tribesmen. 60% of Spring and Summer was nothing but Native symbols. The thing that I felt was could be most offensive was the Human Skulls wearing the Native Headdress. That is a slap in the face after the US slaughtered so many and stole their lands. Everything outside of the Skulls was nice, but it offended the Tribes, and I was happy to see it be pulled from the shelves.l at the time.

The Polo Tee that you mentioned is my favorite, and the Polo font separates it nicely from the OG. The Blue and the Tan Scarves also carried the original logo. I've always leaned more to the Native Blanket Patterns, but I do own the small number of Chief Head Icons that I consider speacial.

I really hope thst RL can find a way to reissue the OG painted logo again in some form. It's hands down the best Native American logo in Ralph Lauren's catalog.

Correct about the scarfs I have both and forgot about them. When all bruha was going on Macy’s nor the D&S store pulled anything but the mech was heavily discounted at the same time releasing new full price Indian product.
They out sourced the art so there’s various illustrators work that made the cut. Some of ecko/echo design team did.

That’s a pretty cool rugby, I’m sure a lot of ppl will be annoyed with the horse. Interesting that they made samples for the paralympics, I wonder if they will have a slightly different uniform.

I still want the Sochi cardi and would take either Paralympic or Olympic. I always liked the Olympic Rings logo a bit more tho
 
Grabbed the polo sport limited edition denim jacket yesterday. $90 shipped from ebay. Already had the polo sportsman jean jacket, but this one is different enough to be a good addition. (If you passed on the limited edition polo sport denim or silver lines cause you thought too expensive, you can pretty easily get most items from either collection for 30-70% off.)

managed to snag a Wimbledon umpire jacket, NWT, for $250 shipped. Kind of ridiculous, but beautiful jacket... and normally $995, couldn’t pass it up.
